Laos Transfers 41 Citizens to Thailand After Raids on Illegal iGaming Operators

Laotian authorities have transferred 41 citizens to Thailand following raids targeting illegal iGaming operators.

 All 41 had worked as administrators for three unlicensed websites: Maha Heng 777, UFA and 365.
The group included 30 women and 11 men. According to authorities, the administrators worked 12-hour shifts and earned between $360 and $544 per month.
During questioning, all 41 said they had crossed the border voluntarily. Authorities found no evidence of human trafficking or forced labor among those transferred.
