1xBet-Backed HYPE FC Books Covington–Danis Grappling Bout in Rome

New BC.Game ambassador Colby Covington will face Dillon Danis in a submission-only contest on November 3, with SiGMA World listed among the event’s sponsors.

HYPE Fighting Championship has announced a submission-only grappling match between Colby Covington and Dillon Danis as the headline attraction for its November 3 event in Rome.

The tournament is backed by title partner 1xBet and will take place at PalaPellicone in Ostia. Ticketing provider TicketOne describes the event as HYPE’s first appearance in Rome, with a programme combining grappling and bare-knuckle competition.

Submission-Only Main Event

Covington and Danis will compete under grappling rules, with victory dependent on forcing a submission. The announced format differs from their previous meeting in freestyle wrestling.

HYPE’s initial announcement did not specify a weight limit, match duration or overtime procedure. Those details should therefore be distinguished from the confirmed submission-only format.

The wider programme also includes bare-knuckle fighting and dirty boxing. SiGMA World’s promotional listing names Francesco Morandi against Ali Heibati and Toka Gaz against Joilton Lutterbach among the other advertised contests.

SiGMA World Joins Event Sponsors

The tournament coincides with SiGMA World’s November 2-5 gathering in Rome. SiGMA itself is listed as a sponsor of the fight night, alongside Forged Irish Stout, TicketOne, VAST and Live Vegas.

The event adds a combat sports attraction during the industry conference, while 1xBet is also running its own exhibition and networking programme at SiGMA World.

Covington enters the event shortly after renewing his global ambassador partnership with BC.Game. Announced on October 28, that agreement was the first ambassador appointment made public under the operator’s new chief executive, Ali “Ako” Muhanned.

BC.Game said its renewed collaboration with Covington would cover digital campaigns, fan activities and sports entertainment content. The fighter’s individual ambassador agreement is separate from 1xBet’s sponsorship of the HYPE event.
