Operator Linebet and Spanish football club Athletic Bilbao have extended their sponsorship partnership into the new season, according to an announcement from the operator.
The renewal follows a first season during which the two parties carried out a range of joint initiatives, including fan activations, contests, jersey and ticket giveaways, exclusive content featuring club players, joint advertising campaigns, and dedicated events for club supporters. The partnership gains additional relevance following the 2026 World Cup, as several Athletic Bilbao players featured on Spain's winning national squad. Linebet retains its status as the club's official regional betting partner across African markets under the renewed agreement.
The extension reflects Linebet's continued focus on expanding its presence in key African markets through football sponsorship, using the partnership to deepen engagement with fan audiences through a mix of promotional content and in-person events. The involvement of Athletic Bilbao players in Spain's World Cup-winning squad adds additional marketing value to the renewed deal, giving Linebet indirect association with a high-profile tournament success story.
