Ontario’s online casino segment set its third consecutive monthly revenue record, rising 22.7% year-on-year as nine-month revenue reached approximately C$2.87 billion.

Ontario’s regulated online casino market generated a record C$340.8 million, approximately US$245 million, in September 2026, according to iGaming Ontario data.
Revenue increased from C$336.3 million in August and C$277.8 million in September 2025. That represents approximately 1.3% monthly growth using the published rounded figures and a 22.7% increase year-on-year.
September was the third consecutive record month, following C$330.4 million in July and C$336.3 million in August.
Online casino revenue totalled approximately C$2.87 billion during January-September, up 28.6% from approximately C$2.23 billion in the corresponding period of 2025.
Casino wagering reached C$75.06 billion over the same period, an increase of 24.3% from C$60.40 billion a year earlier. September’s wagering volume was C$8.50 billion, below August’s C$8.78 billion despite the higher revenue.
Wagers represent the total amount staked, while gaming revenue measures the amount retained after player winnings. Neither figure represents operators’ net profit.
Maintaining September’s revenue level through the final three months would put annual casino revenue near C$3.9 billion, approximately US$2.8 billion.
Annualising the first nine months’ wagering volume produces approximately C$100 billion, or roughly US$72 billion. These are arithmetic scenarios based on reported activity, rather than official forecasts or completed annual results.
Casino products accounted for approximately 82% of Ontario’s C$416.3 million in total online gambling revenue during September. Betting generated C$69.1 million, while peer-to-peer poker contributed C$6.4 million.
The reports cover operators with operating agreements with iGaming Ontario. They exclude Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s own online offering and pari-mutuel horse-racing wagering. The figures are unaudited and may be adjusted.
